What is the D-ifference Between SEM and PPC

SEM (search engine marketing) and PPC (pay per click) are two closely related terms that get mistaken for one another. What is the difference? SEM is a broad term that encompasses PPC. SEM includes paid advertising and organic search engine optimization. Paid advertising contains several pricing models and pay per click is one of the most popular ones. Other pricing models including paying a CPM (cost per mille, or Latin for a thousand impressions).
